Easy Party Food Ideas to Please a Crowd

When planning events, it’s nice to have some party snacks served. You want the food to be delicious but not complicated. For example you can go for gourmet appetizers if you want or go for something simpler like finger foods.

Your friends will be talking about your next birthday party food when they’re served with these delicious party foods.

  1. Meatballs

These meatballs are the perfect party food. They’re easy to make, quick and delicious – combining beef and pork in equal parts they’re tender enough to eat without choking.

Seasoned with Italian spices and parmesan cheese, this dish brings out wonderful flavors with every bite.

 2. Chocolate Truffles

I love desserts, so when I plan a party, I always make sure to have a bunch of sweet snacks on the table. These chocolate truffles are one of my favorites. You don’t need any skills to make these homemade truffles. They are velvety smooth and delectable, so they’re quite addictive too!

All you need is four ingredients total: chocolate, heavy cream, butter, and vanilla.

3. Potato skins

I highly doubt that there is a better party appetizer than this.

Loaded potato skins are always a crowd-pleaser. There’s plenty of time to whip up some potatoes, bacon, sour cream, and cheese. They’re easy to throw together – then put them on the baking sheet and pop them in the oven for 10 minutes at 425ºF.

What’s so great about this recipe is how easy they are to make! All you have to do is sprinkle some ingredients over the potatoes then pop them in the oven.

4. Sausage rolls

More commonly known as Pigs in blankets, these snacks are drool-worthy, to say the least. And while we traditionally use store-bought sausage to make these delectable bites, this recipe takes this snack up a level.

The ground pork mixed with bacon is what makes this recipe really irresistible! When wrapped in puff pastry and fried, it makes the most mouth-watering sausage rolls I’ve ever had.

5. Parmesan Crusted Baby Potatoes

These baked dilled red potatoes have an extra-delicious parmesan crust that’s savory, crunchy and cheesy. This is the perfect dish for a cozy evening at home.

It’s so easy to make too! You just spread a little bit of cheese on the bottom of a greased pan, top it with potatoes and put it all in the oven. A simple & tasty dish that takes minimal effort.

6. Chicken Tenders

Chicken tenders are overflowing with flavor and so crispy on the outside. They’re also tender & juicy on the inside. Spreading a plate of these will make them fly off the table when everyone gets a taste of their deliciousness.

And to make things more interesting, all you need for these tenderloins are lemon juice, milk, sugar and Frank’s Red Hot Sauce! You don’t even need any extra spices or seasonings.

7. Brownies

Here’s another delicious brownie recipe that will be a hit with your dessert-loving guests. With so many varieties out there, I chose this one because it’s my favorite.

This dessert has that perfect balance of flavors, it’s sweet without being too overpowering. The texture is crisp on the edges and soft & fudgy in the center!

It’s the best parts of a brownie and more. All the ingredients are basic and you just need to combine them, bake, then wait for it to be done. Super simple!

8. Bacon-wrapped pineapple

These bacon-wrapped pineapple bites are the perfect example that you can’t go wrong with sweet, savory, and smoky flavors. They’re also the easiest appetizers to make. All you need is to wrap pineapple chunks in bacon and bake them.

Many people like to make these ahead of time and store them in the fridge. You can then bake them up when you’re about ready to serve or eat.

Keep this in mind: fresh pineapples are more crisp and juicy than canned ones, so I usually use them. This makes things a little more complicated, but it’s up to you!

9. Croquettes

Croquettes are small balls that are usually made out of mashed potatoes and bacon with a cheese filling. They’re definitely one of the most sinful treats around.

If you are serving croquettes at your party, better tell your guests to forget about their diet. These savory dishes are hard to resist! You might think you’ll only have three or four, but soon enough it’s really out of control.

10. Sweet Corn Fritters

These corn fritters are so light, sweet, and savory. They’re the perfect party food and will have your guests asking for the recipe.

Aside from the corn fritter itself, another thing that makes this recipe special is the honey sriracha dip. It’s a delicate balance of sweet, savory, creamy and spicy. The dish has such a great taste!
